Why we built it
Farmmetric did not come from a software company. It came from the field.
We ran a 100,000 sq ft growing operation: 14 greenhouses and three harvests a year. For five years we kept its records in full compliance without a single fine, without a compliance department, because the crew logged the work as it happened.
Every hour spent chasing paper logs and typing the same thing twice was waste. So we took it out, and now we give the tool away. Saving waste is the simplest way to make money, and a leaner farm is better for everyone on it: the owner, the crew and the buyer.
